+ Merging contact numbers or at least contact clean up where wrong numbers are added through excel import, so an option to mark these numbers are useless / dead numbers which will not be added in auto-populate channel / broadcast lists. Regardless of the below mentioned use case, an option of marking dead/useless numbers will be good to mark certain numbers to eliminate from adding into any communication list.
Ex: if a number was
+919509099595
but the number imported through excel (coz of wrong entry) was missing
+91
and it's now
+9509099595
, this is now an international number with
+95
as the country code of another number, and this will keep costing charges to users while they send out broadcast messages. So, businesses can manually set these numbers as dead/useless numbers (coz whatsapp API doesn’t let you delete the numbers from contact) and then these numbers shouldn’t be allowed to be part of any broadcast lists.
+ For the above problem, the import by excel feature must also be updated so that instead of 4 columns, now there has to be 5 columns, and when the customer downloads the sample file, the country code column must automatically be filled with +91. And while importing the file, the country code and phone number columns can be concatenated and imported as a single number with proper country code.
+ Even better way of importing contacts seamlessly would be to use Google sheets, so that for the users, they can have all the contacts in one sheet and they can add the new contacts in the existing google sheet and inside the DoubleTick CRM, SYNC button can sync all contacts directly instead of manually uploading each time. This can also be updated to sync two ways, so that the customer can also sync the existing customers from DoubleTick CRM to their connected google sheet, so that they can filter and work directly on the google sheet, create segmentation and that can be synced back to DoubleTick. Google Sheets is built with a powerful API and with the help of Google App Scripts this can be automated easily!
